Activities & Services
We are pleased to offer activities to suit all interests and levels of mobility. You can join in as much or as little as you like.
Our wonderful activities co-ordinator Louise organises a range of visiting attractions from and organise a range of visiting attractions from musicians to masseurs and beauty therapists to book clubs. We also arrange trips out - maybe sightseeing or to the theatre, or a one-to-one shopping trip for yourself.

Our gardens are well maintained by David and James and boast an abundance of wildlife making the most of our quiet surroundings. You can take in the view from the patio or around our meandering pathway. If you would like to assist in the gardens you would be more than welcome. There is a raised vegetable plot, flower beds and greenhouse, so there is always something to do for the garden enthusiast.
If you prefer to stay in, maybe you just want to watch the latest movie. Our large widescreen TV will entertain you with cinema sound.

Our local vicar visits us regularly to take communion and is happy to visit you personally.

We hold a garden party every summer that family and friends can attend and we are traditionally visited by our local primary school near Christmas for festive carols.
Services we provide
Our aim is to provide the best possible care and service in a relaxed and homely environment.
Our fully equipped kitchen can cater for every need and dietary requirement. Our cooks Vicky and Heather prepare homemade food using the best ingredients. All our meat and vegetables are sourced locally.

Our menu is always varied with plenty of choice on offer daily. The cooks meet with the residents committee every couple of months to pick a new seasonal menu.

Breakfast is available whenever you want it. Lunch is normally a sociable occasion but you can choose to eat alone. Evening meals come from a wide selection and are served where and when it suits you.
Food & Drink
Laundry
Our in-house laundry is equipped with a commercial washing machine and tumble dryer, and all linen is ironed and stored in your own personalised basket to be returned to you daily. We can also arrange dry cleaning of more delicate items on request.
Hairdresser, chiropodist, optician and dental services
We have hairdressers that visit each week and will attend to you in your own room.

Our chiropodist drops in every few weeks and can come to your room or you can use the treatment room.
Opticians visit regularly and can perform eye tests as well as providing frames and glasses at your convenience.
We can also organise dental consultations.
Medical
You can keep your own GP if they are willing or join one of a choice of four local GP practices. They can continue any existing arrangements for occupational therapy or physiotherapy you may have.
