May 2025: VE Day Celebrations

Residents and staff came together to mark VE Day with heartfelt celebrations.

From wartime songs and singalongs to traditional cream teas and homemade bunting, we honoured the occasion with joy, respect and plenty of smiles. Many residents shared their memories of the day World War II ended in Europe, while others donned 1940s-style outfits and raised a toast to the generation who lived through it.
